Research On Old-Aged Human Resources Development In Jiangxi

A sample survey conducted among one percent of the total population in 2005 shows that the age structure of population in Jiangxi has already become an old-age type from the adulthood type. Jiangxi is stepping into an advanced age society, 4 years in advance compared with the anticipation of 2009. Such situation has produced great effects on economic growth of Jiangxi province.Based on the fifth national census and 1% of the population survey data in 2005, this essay attempts to make some research on the current quantity and quality of old-aged human resource in Jiangxi, and to reveal the huge hidden potential labor ability among them. It tries to preliminary discuss the necessity and feasibility in the development and use of the old-aged human resource, combining the relevant theory and practical experience on such issues in and out of china. It also tries to make Jiangxi old-aged human resource development strategies and stimulate the benefit of the aging population, thus reducing social burdens and easing social pressure, providing personal protection for the development of Jiangxi.
