Strategic Project On Cultural Tourism Of Fuqing County

Nowadays, various patterns of tour-demand have already been formed with the great change of consumption on tourism. Being a certain type of tourism, cultural tourism is of a top popularity because of its special connotation and experience.With a long history and profound cultural heritage of our country, accelerating cultural tourism has a promising future. However, because of a delayed starting and neglecting of its importance, the exploration of cultural tourism in many areas still stays in a primitive stage. Fuqing city inherits comparatively rich cultural resources, having an objective condition to develop cultural tourism. Yet it's still not so characteristic for its lack of clear theme. Therefore, it's of huge importance for Fuqing's tourism to do some research on utilizing the cultural resources and executing a tourism strategy. In this thesis, the writer firstly analyzes the category and feature of cultural tourism, along with the headway in this field and its current situation. And then, the writer studies the Fuqing's tour strategic environment by using SWOT in order to point out five types of Fuqing's cultural resources. Next, according to the specialty of them, the thesis comes to a proposal of five strategies for development of Fuqing's cultural tourism basing on the current situation and existing problems. These strategies are about dream, religion, folk custom, relics and industry culture. Last, Countermeasures to protect the execution of those strategies in following aspects—resource integration, market promotion and travel condition are put forward.
