Research On The Development Of Tourism Resources Of Shizhu Lake, Fuqing

The thesis firstly analyzes the types, characteristics and developing pace of reservoir tourism resources as well as the essential features of the coastal tourism resources. Based on the above analysis it further probes into the issues concerning the ideas and guidelines to direct the development of coastal reservoir tourism, the directions to develop the eco-tourist souvenirs, and the systems to ensure the smooth development of tourism. The research shows that Shizhu Lake is affluent in tourism resources, which consists of 6 main classes, 10 subvarieties and 25 fundamental types, and has great aesthetic, historical, cultural, scientific, environmental, recreational and sanitarian values. However some problems, such as unfavorable management system and singleness of tourist souvenirs, etc., still exist in the process of tourist development. Owing to these shortcomings, the paper classifies Shizhu tourist attraction into nine functional areas like Shizhu Taoist Culture Area, Shizhu Recreation Area and so on, and designs a variety of activities including sightseeing, recreation, sports, culture visit, religion pilgrimage, dream praying, health care, cate-tasting , shopping, rural travel, moreover it differentiates the attraction into natural landscape and cultural landscape.
