As vehicle insurance is the important pillar of property insurance; in China, the development of vehicle insurance will directly have an influence on achieving the goal of the non-life insurance. The key work of insurance regulatory in our country is how to promote the development of the vehicle insurance market healthily and quickly and increase core competitiveness of the insurance company. From January 1st in 2003, the marketization reform of the vehicle insurance was carried out. Now it is the insurance companies to develop new products and quote the price, which was done by the insurance regulatory department in the past.Until now the reform has been carries out for more than four years. During the four years what has happened in the domestic vehicle insurance market? What problems should be concerned and solved in the period of the marketization reform of the vehicle insurance? The dissertation expounds the above mentioned questions, and gives some suggestions about how to deepen the marketization reform of the vehicle insurance.Learning from the marketization reform experience abroad and the study of the theory export, the goal is divided into eight parts: justice, fairness, sensible reflection, stability, loss under the control, brief and popularity, high efficiency and catering for the demand of customers. Justice, fairness and stability should be considered first. Second is loss under the control, sensible reflection and brief and popularity. Finally is high efficiency and catering for the demand of customers.The insurance companies should deepen the restructuring, become more aware of self-restriction, and increase the ability against the risk. The insurance companies should accumulate more data, share the information with each other, and establish the system of quotation and management. The insurance companies should increase the ability of creation and management, provide more characteristic and popular products to the customers, and supply high quality service. The insurance regulatory department should strengthen and improve the supervision, and create the better environment for the development of the marketization reform.
