A Study On Coordination Mechanism Of Programme Based On Multi-Agent System

Since the 1990s, along with the ever increasing requirement of managing multi-projects, the concept of programme management emerged. Focusing on the enterprise's strategy and through the coordination of organizational development and final products, programme management can gain more benefits by reducing single project's isolation and ambiguity. According to programme management, the coordination of autonomic projects is the heavy crux. Due to the characteristics of autonomy, interaction, collaboration and initiative, Multi-Agent (MA) is applied to various coordination research areas, as a new system simulation tools, an effective distributed coordination tools, and a new basic framework of information system.This paper starts by detailed analyzing the meaning and characteristics of programme, the attributes and issues of programme coordination. Meanwhile, the necessity of coordination system and feasibility of application of MA are discussed. Then, a programme framework based on MA is developed, and the structure and function of every Agent are designed. Basing on this framework, this paper studies the coordination system of four phases in programme's lifecycle. Especially, the core issue in programme identification and planning phase-task and resource coordination is studied detailedly. By the application of Game theory, a task and resource coordination model based on MA is designed and its logic algorithm is studied, so are the model's applicability and expansibility in specific environment. Meanwhile, this paper also discusses the core issue in programme delivery phase by application of extended contract network and behavior coordination based on logic calculation.Subsequently, these coordination mechanism and model are applied in the practice of Owner-objected Construction Programme Management. A specific example is given to validate the model. Meanwhile, the key technology of coordination mechanism is also studied preliminarily. At last, the paper makes summarize and predictive prospect for future research.
