The Analysis Of China's Exporting Trade's Effects On The Quality Of Domestic Environment

With the expanding of international trade and deterioration of global environment, it has become a widely discussed issue that trade and environment are of great connection with one another.The researchers have studied the connection between trade and environment since 1992. And it has become a hot topic from that time until now. Their opinions can fall into two different respects: some people believe that the international trade, increasingly expanding, is the key factor of deterioration of global environment; while others hold the idea that trade restriction is not helpful to solve environmental problem. However, we have realized that our environment has been deeply affected by export trade in our country.In the past years, we have achieved fast development. What's more, our gross export value has increased by 20% since 2002 and lived up to 30% in the following two years. Meanwhile, industry wastewater drainage, exhaust emission (SO2), and solid waste, which lied in a majority of export trades, are worsening our environment.Generally speaking, the diversification between SO2 emission and export lag behind each other. And different export products have various impacts to the environment. As for as the author's concerned, the export growth and contamination are of positive correlation; that is, export growth mounts up environmental pollution.How the export trade will influence the environment? What is the connection among industry wastewater,industry SO2 and solid waste? Positive correlation or negative correlation ? Objective analysis of these problems will be of great importance to adjust structure of export commodities,develop Hi-Tech industries and lower the influences to our environment. The paper here reviews some specific studies both at home and aboard, and makes a conclusion on the basis of the total export value and environmental pollution(industry wastewater,industry SO 2 and solid waste) .With the increasing development of our export value, it is a trend that the"waste gas, waste water and industrial residue"grows every day. The factors worked on this phenomenon are followed then. Finally the author puts forward some suggestions: adjust developing structure of export and import trade; optimize structure of export commodities etc.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction of research background,purpose and significance of the study,methods and arrangement of structure .The second part is the literature review. It gives a brief historical retrospect of some researches and studies from experts around home and aboard. With a close combination of actual complexions, existing in export trade and domestic environmental quality, and relative literatures, the author believes that our export industries have great and different influences to industry wastewater,industry SO2 and solid waste. Differentiae are further studied then. We realize that some industries belong to old-style industrialization characterized by featuring high input, high consumption and high pollution.The third part is focused on analytic demonstration regarding export trade and domestic environmental quality. First of all, the status of trade and environment exists in our country. The development of trade is an important impetus to our economic progress. However, the more progress we have made, the worse the environment would be. For example, absolute value of polluted-intensive products is promoted.Then the author makes a unit root test between logarithmic export trade and the three wastes in time sequence and makes sure its stability. Export value (X)serves as an elucidative variable; industry waste (Y1),industry SO2(Y2),solid waste(Y3)Separately serves as an elucidative variable for export value (X). Establishing unary linear regression model processes general linear regression analysis. Quantitative analysis of the connection between total export value and total amount of industry waste,industry SO2,solid waste. Econometrics software Eviews5.0 is employed to process logarithmic disposal.Conclusion:1. Total export value has positive correlation with"the three wastes"in our country. The three wastes are aggrandized for the increasing of export. 2. The export expanding will enhance the quantities of industry waste,industry SO2,Solid waste,especially industry SO2,Solid waste. Exploration on the reasons of the analytic demonstration in the third part constitutes the fourth part of this paper. First of all, it analyses the export structure from proportion between primary products and finished products; then, the status of environment is studied in the case that developed country transfers their pollutions to developing country through export. At last, the points from the transfer of technology on environment protection and transportation service will be taken.Conclusions and suggestions are the final part. We can see that the change of export variable is the cause of pollution increase.( the results of analytic demonstration: if our export goes up 100 million dollars, the industry SO2 will increase1188.44ton; solid waste will increase 106900 ton; industry waste water will increase 546400 ton). The author brings forward some suggestions in this paper therefore: upgrade integral industry structures, improve high-tech products, establish sustainable development of export &import structures, carry out tax policy and turn its interior condition into exterior condition .In addition to these suggestions, we should make full use of economic status, and improve both our economy and environment.
