As the pillar industry, the automobile industry plays a drive of the tap role in the development of national economy. The automobile industry of Jilin Province will welcome new challenge and opportunity under the background of fact that the country revitalizes the old industrial base of the Northeast. Meanwhile, it introduced several kinds of methods to comprehensive appraisal of technological innovation ability briefly, included analytic approach of the level, cluster analytic approach, weighting and sue for peace law etc.. Finally, the main composition analytic approach was been chosen, which could pick out the artificial influence factor, adopting compose right objectively.This text regards technological innovation ability of automobile industry of 22 provinces and cities in the whole country as samples. After appraising, the technological innovation ability of automobile industry of Jilin Province ranks the 6th in the whole country.
