As a rural infrastructure construction, the biogas construction had important significance for protesting and improving rural ecological environments, increasing farmers' income, realiz -ing agricultural production harmlessness and promoting agricultural structural adjustment. Through analysis and research of current station, potentiality, extension pattern and benefits of rural biogas construction in Xinjiang, appropriate construction areas of ecological models were divided. And biogas liquor comprehensive utilization test was carried out on cotton. And corresponding countermeasures were put forward according to the existent problems of its application currently in the paper. The paper also will provide reference to the developmental planning of rural energy and the decision-making of energy policy for the government.The results showed that extension power and level of comprehensive utilization of rural biogas construction in Xinjiang were inferior to northwest other provinces, and comprehend -sive utilization rate was only 24.8%. The result of budgetary estimate of organic wastes in Xinjiang showed there was large potentiality of developing rural biogas, and their biogas potentialities were about 9.63 billion cubic meters every year. By the time of 2007, 230.8 thousand biogas digesters had been built. And they could produce biogas about 1.39 billion cubic meters, which only occupied 14.4% of potentialities."Four-in-one"and"three-in-one"biogas ecological models of rural household biogas in Xinjiang not only brought out remark able economic benefits for farmers, but also got good ecological and social benefit. Basis on differences of areas, requirement of eco-environment construction, regional climatic character -istics, economic base and supply and demand of energy etc. of Xinjiang, rural household biogas construction were divided into eastern Xinjiang-southern Xinjiang biogas area, northern Xinjiang biogas area, border pasturing and agriculture-nomad biogas area. Field experiment results indicated yield of cotton was the best with A1B2C3 combination design, and the effects on yield were in the order: seed soakingļ¹„top dressingļ¹„leaves sprinkling. And the result of seed soaking for 8 hour with raw liquor was appropriate in field experiment. The corresponding countermeasures were put forward according to the existent problems of rural biogas construction currently, which will provide valuable reference for application of rural biogas in Xinjiang.
