Study On The Sustainable Development Of Eco-economic In Hami District Based On Land Use/Cover Change

Arid area is a fragile area of natural eco-system, and lacks of water resource and plants sparse vegetation, so it is the sensitive area of ecological environment problems, and the the influence of mankind activities to land use / cover change is every notable; In the meantime, because of the inferior position of resources endowment and location, it easily sink into the dual predicament of economy developing slowly and ecological environment worsening. Therefore, how to moderate the relationship between economy development and ecological environment constuction and promot both to develope commonly in arid area, is a magnitude and hard project.This research focuses the problems of eco-economic in Hami District which is the typical arid area, usese Remote Sensing(RS) and Geographic Information System(GIS) as technique support, and studys the landscape pattern change and the evolution mechanism of land transfer matrix of land use / cover change, and then evaluates and analysises the influence of land use / cover change to the sustainable development ability of eco-economic development and the coupling degree of eco-economic system, sums up the relationship between eco-environment system and socio-economic system in arid area, analyzes the factors which influence the coupling degree of eco-economic system, probes into the methods of how to moderate the development of land use / cover change and eco-economic in Hami District.The study shows that,①from 1975 to 2005, the land broke up, landscape diversity and evenness descended, and aggregation ascended in Hami District, indicating that the interference of mankind to ecological environment became continuously enlarger.②In the past 30 years, the sustainable development ability of eco-economic firstly descended and then ascended in Hami District, but the eco-environment system and socio-economic system presented a trend of developing toward positive coupling continuously.③we must directly face the biggest reality of water resource, innovate the supply-demand system of water resource, collocate water resource reasonably, and make sure the initiative satisfy of ecological water.④The positive coupling of eco-environment system and socio-economic system is established on the foundation of moderate development of them; But the effects of resources sub- system and economic sub- system to eco-economic development are the biggest, and they are the foundation of the development of ecological environment sub- system and social sub- system.
