With the fast growth of world economics and globalization as well as China's progressive market economy, "the zero stock "and "the punctual system production management" (Just in time) theory have been widely carried out by the outstanding enterprise and used in managing practice. The logistic management turns out to be more important, and the logistic management level has greatly influenced the core competitive power of the enterprise. As the result, the logistic management has become "the source and origin of third profit", and the "Third Party Logistics" has been widely adopted by outstanding enterprises today. Under the growing economics and globalization, the outstanding enterprise must possess a "Logistics Operation System" with high competitive power. While establishing a set of highly effective logistic management information system has become indispensable for improving the enterprise logistic management level.This paper focused on the fundamental theory of logistics management. It analyzed the content, classification and function, as well as the characteristics of logistic system. The logistic management, the 3rd party logistics, and supply chain management were also discussed in this paper. Especially, the paper addressed how to select and evaluate the 3rd party logistics and evaluate logistic management cost control, logistic management information system and customer service. Finally, with the intensive study of the current situation of HUATONG logistic management, the paper mentioned some of the exiting issues and the causes of the company, Improvement measures such as how to strengthen the 3rd party logistic management(including choice, quoted price and evaluation), how to construct scientific logistic management information system, and reasonable operation regulations etc had been suggested.
