Electric power sector is the basic sector which supports national economy and society development, and is the important part of energy sources industry. It has momentous relations with economic lifeline, energy sources security and social stability, and is the significant base of building All-round Well-off Society and Harmonious Society. With the development of market economy, the industrial structure and industry interrelation with other departments of power sector change a lot. Therefore the study on the input-output relation between power sector and other sectors is the key of grasping power sector's industrial structure and industrialization connection, and setting down power developmental strategy. In this dissertation on the background of the correlation and developing state of power sector and national economy, a thorough study on electric power sector and national economy, which is based on input-output analysis method, is undertaken from theoretic method and econometric analysis. The main research objects and results are:Electricity consumption data is brought into RAS method to solve RAS's troubles in use, the I-O table is updated to 2006 by using the associative method. Based on the 2006 I-O table, the causative matrix model and foreign trade structure reasonability indexes method are applied to research the causation of economic structure change and reasonability of external trade structure change from 2002 to 2006. Input-output mathematical models are applied to achieve economic contacts analysis, economic structure analysis, economic effectiveness analysis, coordinate level analysis, intermittent investment analysis, price-policy simulation of power sector to synthetically research the industrial characteristics, developing state of power sector and influence of electricity price change. And the similar econometric analysis is also made on the industrial characteristics and developing state of coal and petroleum sector.A decomposition model of sectors' electricity consumption is designed on the general structural decomposition analysis model. By using this model, the caution of sectors' electricity consumption change from 1995 to 2005 can be decomposed into electricity consumption intensity change factor, middle demands change factor and final demands change factor. The indirect electricity output calculation model is designed and applied to calculate electricity contained in imports and exports of products and service in 2005, research if the external trade structure change is propitious to energy conservation and loss reduction and research the influences of export tax policy adjustment on energy saving and emission reduction.Combined input-output analysis method with linear programming, theoretic optimum scheme of sectors' electricity consumption in 2006 is designed and compared with actual condition to study irrationality of our economic structure in 2006.
