China and African countries have highly complementary economies,therefore,Sino-African economic and trade has made considerable progress. In recent years,a prominent characteristic of the geographical distribution of China's foreign trade development has been the lead of the growth of trade in emerging markets over that in developed countries. Furthermore, the swiftest growth in emerging markets is the Sino-African trade. The Sino-African economic and trade cooperation has also expanded to various forms other than trading, such as investment.
