Research On The Impact Of International Trade Of Forest Products On The Industrial Development In Heilongjiang Province

With the enforcement of the policy of the Natural Forestry Conservation Project, Heilongjiang province, which was abundant in forestry resources in China, faced with great opportunities and challenges to further develop its forestry industry. Forestry industry's progress inevitably demands the expansion of international trade. However, the expansion and upgrade of international trade and products may bring great counterforce to the progress. In this paper, first we recalled the classic theory of international trade and emphasized the relationship between international trade and industrial development; then we discussed the impact of international trade on forest products on industrial development by using the concept of sustainable development and took the impact of international trade on forest products and industrial development in Heilongjiang into consideration. Besides, it is suggested in this paper that we should strengthen the importance of international trade of forest product and promote the development of forestry industry. Combining theory and example, analysis and conclusion and referring to literature, this paper discusses the situation, characteristics and problems of international trade existing in forest products, forest trade and industrial development of Heilongjiang province, carries out a detailed analysis on the impact of the main forest products import and export conditions on forestry-related industries, analyzes the conduction between the foreign trade and problems existing in industry development, and elaborates the benign and adverse effect of these factors, such as the scale, structure, modalities of international trade of forest products and the advanced technology of industrial development. In order to settle the conflicts between the development of international trade of forest products and the industrial development of forestry industry, based on the analysis and references and driven by the concept of sustainable development of international trade in forest products in Heilongjiang province and then promote the progress of forestry industry, this paper proposed significant short-term and long-term suggestions to the government, industry and enterprise in making policies at macro, industrial and strategic level.
