Research On The Government Leading Poverty Relief And Development In City LouDi

Poverty is a widespread problem that exists in all countries around the world. There are a certain number of poverty-stricken people in either developing countries or developed countries. The problem of poverty has become an important factor constraining the development of national economy and social undertakings in a comprehensive, rapid, coordinated and healthy way. In this context, a comparatively comprehensive and in-depth study of poverty relief and development, has a very important significance to the promotion of economic development and the building of a harmonious society.Based on the guidance of the scientific concept of development, and on the theory research and practice exploration about poverty relief and development at home and abroad, applying related public management theory to analyzing the situation in City Loudi, the study found that poverty relief and development work mechanism is not sound enough, rural grassroots organizations being lax and village-level economic organizations weakening, the loss of the main body consciousness of the poverty-stricken households and the insufficient human resources, etc., have become the main factors restricting the progress of poverty relief and development in Loudi. The corresponding policy suggestions are as follows : 1. innovate the poverty relief and development work mechanism; 2. innovate the organization-building mechanisms; 3. strengthen the participation awareness of poor farmers;4. optimize policy environment, and integrate the resources aiding the poor.
