Study On Yi Nationality Village Tourism-Human Settlements Construction And Development In Stone Forest County

Now , minority village's unique geographical characteristics, nationality cultures, lifestyles, and so on have become an important part of tourism development, and influenced villages own construction and tourism development complexly, profoundly. In recently, Yunnan Province unveiled a series policy to promote the village tasted-tourism development. In this background, the research on the village tourism-human settlements is very important and practical.Based on the element theory of human settlements science and correlative theory of tourism science, the thesis advances a bran-newresearch concept--village tourism human settlements (VTHS). The paperpresents summary study framework, contents, principles and objectives of VTHS, and points out it will form "Aboriginal Human Settlements (AHS)"which core is aboriginal and "Tourist human settlements (THS)"which core is tourist, when tourism infiltrated minority villages. The construction and development of the two aspects is relatively independent of each other.First, from the sources of historical cultural and actuality of several typical Yi nationality villages in Stone Forest County Yunnan province, the paper opens out the human settlements science of Shilin Yi nationality and induces that "Hill-Water-Forest-Cropland-Village culture" is distillate of Shilin Yi nationality villages to fill up the studies vacancies of Shilin Yi nationality human settlements.Secondly, the paper based on the core theory of VTHS, described actuality, influencing factors, limitation and shortcomings both in AHS and THS, points out that AHS construction requires advance of aboriginal living conditions and standard of living; THS construction requires upgrade of tourism attraction and the standard of service.Finally, the paper grasps the different important aspects of the VTHS on the different villages, which is Yi nationality village in Stone Forest County, from the relationship between the coordination of different regions and the different stages of tourism development, working out some common strategies and targeted countermeasures.
