As a frontier provinces,the industrial structure of Inner Mongolia is different from other province, particularly for the border areas, trade has become an important support for the local economic development. The port of Manzhouli and Erlianhaote has become the important channel of the border trade of Mongolia and Russia. The border of inner Mongolia had play the important role of the border trade of inner Mongolia even the hole economic of this area. This paper analyses the situation of Inner Mongolia border and the trend of trade in Erlianhaote and Manzhouli port in recent years, the structure of commodity trade and the promote in the local economy because of the border trade.
