The motivation to mobilize people's enthusiasm is the basic channels and important means of human resource development and management. The new group of generation Y employees has increasingly become the main force of China's enterprises, so how to motivate them effectively from the view of psychological contract is the direct of this paper.From analysis the personality characteristics of the generation Y employees start with and through reading and analyzing many correlative literatures, we discern the unique characteristics of the generation Y employees. Because of the influence of some factors such as the economic development and social revolution, the generation Y employees show the different values, such as pluralism, diversity, and individual values and so on. On this basis, this paper sum up the psychological contract built up between the generation Y employees and enterprises. We can learn from the study that the salaries, benefits, trust, respect, recognition, fair treatment, training, career development and flexible working are the main elements of psychological contract between the generation Y employees and enterprises.Based on the above analysis, this paper will mainly focus on putting forward the policy proposals on the motivation elements of t generation Y employees and try to create the appropriate incentive model.
