Research On Technology & Organization Mode Of GXEDI Informatization

The rapid growth of the Internet has greatly changed the processes and patterns of enterprise informatization(EI). Many enterprises have enlarged their investment to EI, but results are unsatisfactory. The basic reason lies in the different levels of their EI strategies, as well as in the different ways of implementation. To obtain benefits and competitive advantage from EI, the implementation pattern must be scientific and fix to the enterprise strategy and the concrete management and operation situation.GXEDI is a A-Class electric power design and research company. With a history of 20 years in EL It has developed a large amount of application systems, which are separated from each other, and form a lot of "iosalated information islands", and need to be integrated.This text discusses the current EI situation and construction mode of GXEDI,and on combining the internal and external factors to the SWOT analysis model, proposes an EI strategy to GXEDI.This paper suggests an IT-tranfered model(ITT) to analyse the situation and the EI implementation abilities of an enterprise,and suggests an Organization-Oriented implementation Mode(OOM), and then illustrates the scientificity of OOM mode.It is concluded that the OOM mode is a more scientific and resonable mode for EI implementation. The OOM mode is realized by an EI strategy&operation organization system,and ensure that the EI construction is always consistent with an enterprise's strategic goals. By the operation of the organization system,the information technology can be united effectively with other elements such as management, organization and culture to improve the flexibility and the validity of informatization, ensure a sustainable, healthy enterprise informatization, and gaining a competitive advantage over competitors.On combining the real situation of GXEDI, this text applies the OOM mode to the EI of the company, and proposes a concrete scheme for the implementation.
