Project Construction Process Quality Control Based On Game Theory

The project mass problem frequently occurs in reality, the grave engineering qualitative accident has appearing every year, Some problems seems form technology, design and so on, but the interest concealing is the real reason. The ultimate aim of the players as rational economic man which has different goals is make self benefit reach maximum. They realize their aim through game in the process of construction and the effect of reciprocity of the players bring mortal infection to the project quality. So, study project quality control in the process of construction with the game method at the angle of the relation of players has important theory value and practical significance.In this article, the one-short quality game model, finitely repeated game model and infinitely repeated game model between project owner, contractor and supervisor were established based on the theory of rent-seeking and principal-agent after analyzing comprehensively the effect of reciprocity of the three players to the project quality. And then, the equilibrium of each model was gained separately. After comparing and analyzing the game and its equilibrium, you can see that, in the one-short quality game model, the negative equilibrium appeared owing to each player thinking more lot of short-term benefit and striving to gain maximal avails from the current business; in the finitely repeated game model, the existence of final repetition destroyed the mutual restricting relation of benefit and action of the players and then the higher efficient equilibrium cannot be appeared; in the infinitely repeated game model, the part cooperation realized without strength outside of the game.According to the result of comparing, a suggestion to establish credit system of the players and its relative individuals in construction market was put forward. This system stand for arranging system to create a condition of repeated game, change the strategy space and payoff structure of the players and then better the equilibrium to gain the ends of heightening project quality.
