The Research On The Development Strategy Of Jinzhou City Commercial Bank

The author makes a further study of the strategic plan within future several years by combining the theory with practice.The City Commercial Banks originated from City Credit Union, and the most concern for all of them is how to expand and strengthen. Jinzhou City Commercial Bank ranks above the average among over one hundred City Commercial Banks in China, and its existing problems and solutions including relevant policies and tactics can be a good representation and reference for the others.Just like all the other city commercial banks, Jinzhou City Commercial Bank, born in a special historical environment, shoulders the mission of reducing the risks of City Credit Union and embodies the obvious characteristics of administration from its very start in 1998. During the past nine years, it had overcome many difficulties such as heavy historical burdens, simple and crude facilities, unorganized structures and low social acceptability, had made great contributions in the development of local economy, and had become one of the important components of Jinzhou's financial system. However, because of its inherent disadvantages and changes of the outer environments, the development slowed down in the last year, and with the problems of the frail marketing sense, the nonstandard corporate governance, and the lack of organization culture, it was severely restricted in the process of realizing the aim to be larger and stronger. As such, on the basis of perfect marketing system, risks managing system, resources support system and organization culture, profits under the risks adjustment, expansion under the standardization of corporate governance, and innovation and development under the support of technology should be made by means of forging market brand, stipulating organizations, and establishing strategic alliances. What it needs to achieve is the full-scale development, which is the effective integration of quantity and quality, scale and benefit, and efficiency and rate, instead of the simple expansion of quantity and acceleration of speed.Logically, the research analyzed the Jinzhou City Commercial Bank's history, the acquired achievements and the problems exposed nowadays, as well as the faced opportunities and challenges after China's entry into the WTO. It clarified the following points: The key tasks with the aim to make the Jinzhou City Commercial Bank lager and stronger cover promoting managing quality, increasing the capability of making profits, and providing higher returns. The development strategies should be orientated towards making profits under risks adjustment, expanding under stipulating management, and innovating and developing under the technology support.
