Contemporary Marketing emphasizes on market-orientated and customer-centered. Enterprises can stand firm in the intense market competition and make progress based on understanding and satisfying the demands of market. With the development of markets for catalysts during several decades, the present situation of domestic and international market for catalysts is the rapid development of industry and the increasing demand of products and the intense gradually competition. Along with the coming of new economy represented by the networking and information technology, the catalyst Production enterprises are facing a huge challenge, simultaneously also have a very good development opportunity. Facing the complicated and diversified market environment, the operation on catalyst of Lanzhou petrochemical company has been rapidly expanding, simultaneously also has the latent risk and danger. In domestic and international catalyst market with intense competition, the operation on catalyst of Lanzhou petrochemical company can be guaranteed with steady steps, fast, healthy development no other than gradually rectifying and innovating marketing strategy, strengthening the advantage of enterprise competition.The present paper based on the theory of contemporary marketing, integrated using related principles and methods such as the analysis on environment, market, the capability of competition and marketing combined strategy and so on. Firstly, the paper has provided a comprehensive overview of the present situation of markets for catalysts of the petrochemical company in Lanzhou, and it also pointed out the major problems of the enterprise in marketing. Then the marketing environment of markets for catalysts has been analyzing scientifically and systematically, and the advantage and disadvantage of enterprise's competition been clarified. Finally, the paper has studied the basic marketing strategy of catalyst products, and mainly analyzed and argued on product strategy, price strategy, channel strategy, promotion strategy, and proposed the improved and fortified advices, simultaneously proposed the safeguard mechanism implementing marketing strategy.
