Tourism resources is the basis of development of tourist attractions. Because of the similar tourism resources. There are often excessive of similar tourism products in an area or the adjacent areas, then led to the vicious competition. Therefore, the correct positioning is particularly important for tourist attractions. Currently, the evaluation criteria of tourist attractions are always emphasis on the status of tourist attractions ,but paid little attention on the future development trend. In order to have an objective evaluation of tourist attractions, and a more clear positioning in the regional tourism system. This paper introduced the niche theory, and established the evaluation model of tourist attractions' niche. Based on previous research the characteristics of tourist attractions and the niche theory. Proposed the conceptions of tourist attractions' niche and its "station" and "potential". Then, selected evaluation indicators of the tourist attractions' niche by the literature survey and expert advice, and used AHP to determine indicators' weights in the model, and ultimately establish the evaluation model of tourism attractions niche. At last, taking Wuyi Mountain scenic resort as an example, put the model of tourism attrations' niche into use in the empirical study, and proposed the strategies to improve and optimize the tourist attractions' niche.
