Furs processed industry developed slowly was under the influence of population and commerce in republic of china time; thirdly, new fashion industry appeared in republic of china time. new fashion industry was the bigger in scale and capital than old-fashioned handicraft industry ,which obtained abundant profits. Moreover, the article has a discussion about forms of handicraft industry; handicraft labor pay. In a word, the leading handicraft industry on situation of industry meant slow of economic modernization in Sui Yuan area.
