The flowing of international retail commercial capital is speeding up under day by day under the globalization, the strengthen of relationship and interaction between retailing and other industries also the development of information technology is the impetus to multinational retailing. According the analysis of the expert, 60 percent of Chinese retailing will be controlled by there or five world-class giant retailing in future. The scale of international retailing becomes larger, thus the market power is converging at the international giant retailing. However it appears frequently that the international giant retailing has the bargaining power with the manufacture for asking slotting fees, making discrimination price items and appropriating the supplier funds. It becomes more complex that the conflict between the domestic retailer and supplier as a result of the whole openness in the domain of retailing and the entry of multinational giant retailer. On the one hand, the multinational retailer impose the strong power on the domestic supplier for much lower price than the domestic retailer, on the other hand, the multinational retailing is squeezing the market share of the domestic retailer largely.As a large manufacturing country, there are more than million industries that produce consumables in China, the development of supplier is the key point to the whole national economy, so the phenomenon of damage supplier's benefit should be paid attention to. Meanwhile, retailing as the predominant industry, it can not be controlled by the multinational giant retailing, we should have our domestic giant retailing. However, China should obey the WTO rule to permit the multinational retailing to develop in domestic. Therefore, how to reconcile the relationship between retailing and supplier, the problem of establishing the balance mechanism of retail and supplier refers to the development of Chinese retailing and manufacturing, which also has a significance to the GDP, employment, price level, consume and openness, which is a important problem to research thoroughly and handle with appropriately.Chapter 1 is introduction. Chapter 2 discusses the developing period and present status of the retailer-supplier relationship, then reveals the reason of conflict between them. Chapter 3 address the problem of"slotting fees"and make a empirical study on the rationality of slotting fees, and indicate the dispute of slotting fees between retailer and supplier is caused by the slotting-fee charged inappropriately. Chapter 4 discusses the rationality of slotting fees by the model based on the rate of turnover. Based on the above analysis, Chapter 5 argues the construction of balance mechanism of retailer and supplier and put forward some suggestions on the issue that how the supplier, the retailer and the government to solve it. Furthermore, it has theoretic and practical meanings for China's construction of harmonious order in socialism market economy.
