Research On The Development Of Shandong Peninsula International Logistics

December 11th, 2007 is the sixth anniversary of China entry into WTO. These years, China has expanded international development space. The economic power and international force are developed. Based on these facts, Shandong peninsula's economic condition is growing rapidly. It becomes the highlight in the economic structure of China. For the sake of the development of economy, Shandong province begins to build the cities clusters which includes Jinan,Qingdao,Yantai,Weihai,Zibo,Weifang,Dongying and Rizhao. The development of these cities depends on economic internationalization. At the same time, the international logistics that becomes an indispensable part of international economy gets the recognition and development of government and corporation in the international intercourse. Along with the development of the economic trade, entry of the multinational and the expansion of the native corporation, logistics demands goes up constantly. Under this background, the way for the Shandong peninsula to develop the international logistics in order to make the economy grow strongly has very important theoretical and realistic meaning.On the basis of many references, general theory about logistics and international logistics is first given in this article. It includes the international logistics'concept, course, characteristics and difference between international logistics and domestic logistics. The author analyses the actuality of international logistics and get the conclusion in part two. The Shandong peninsula has obvious area advantage and the international logistics has great development. Shandong peninsula international logistics is experiencing opportunities and challenges for China's entry into WTO. In part three, the author makes a grey model to analyse the connection degree about Shandong peninsula international logistics demands after expatiating the theory of logistics demands. The author validates the value and quantity based on the total amount of imports and exports in the eight cities of Shandong peninsula. According to this, the author gets the order of factors which influences Shandong peninsula international logistics demands. On this basis, the article points out the problems that exist in the development of international logistics in the Shandong peninsula. In part four, the author forecasts the demands of Shandong peninsula international logistics and gets the trend. Finally some advices and development countermeasures are given based on the forecast.By means of qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis and diagrams, this paper illustrates the importance of the development condition of international logistics and active parts in economic activities. Their development of international logistics directly related to the imports and exports trades of Shandong peninsula. The theory research on Shandong peninsula international logistics is rare in our country. So this article has practical value and reference meaning. The author hopes it will get some inspiration and help to the domestic corporations for the management and work of international logistics.
