Leisure and recreation industry is a very important component of leisure industry. The city of Ya'an which named as China Excellent Tourist City is the typical small and medium-sized city for this study. The following conclusions have been drawn through the study:(1) According to the value changes of the correlation dimension,The correlation dimension numerical of tourist towns systems in yaan is 1.086, The overall distribution is decentralized; The correlation dimension numerical of tourist scenic spots systems in yaan is 1.181; the overall distribution is also decentralized. Some cities are relatively centralized in the spatial distribution, thus showing relatively independent leisure and recreation industry distribution group.Rain district,Mingshan town,Yingjing town, Tianquan town and the narrow zone of Lushan town have many towns and so many leisure and recreation industries,.It is obvious that Rain district and Mingshan town are the most intensive spots.Yaan have good tourist resources,but tourist scenic spot assumes a decentralized state, Some is near the cities,even the town itself is a scenic spot itself(e.g.,Shangli ancient town), Some are far away(e.g., Laba river nature protection area, Erlang scenic spot area).(2) Regardless of being the cities or scenic spot its layout assumes the spool thread connection by the path and the rivers, simultaneously revolves rank high cities to assume the ring- like distribution for the central point, or radiates in the scope to disperse a distribution. Or radiation within the framework of scattered distribution points(3) The difference for distribution of Yaan non-agricultural population is obvious.
