The arrival of global economic integration, the fierce international competition, especially the rapid change and renovation of technology, demands high requirement of technology and R&D employees. Whether high-tech enterprises can get advanced position, depends on R&D employees. Therefore, how to attract talents, retain staff, promote their creativity and enthusiasm has become a fatal factor for enterprises' survival. Establishing scientific and effective compensation structure to stimulate R&D employees' creativity and enthusiasm has become an urgent problem for high-tech enterprises.Nowadays, the application of the broadband compensation is popular. However, whether this compensation structure is suitable for R&D employees in our high-tech enterprise? This is the main question which this article studies.The objective of this thesis is to give R&D employees some suggestions for their compensation management on the basis of compensation theory and practice.Firstly, the idea of this thesis is coming from the structure of compensation. Then this thesis makes an analysis on the significance and evaluation criterion of compensation structure. Secondly, on the basis of analyzing the relevant theories of broadband compensation, the thesis discusses the characteristics, shortcomings and advantages of broadband compensation. Thirdly, this thesis points out that the R&D employees compensation structure in high-tech enterprises is in trouble. Fourthly, this thesis in the fifth chapter discusses the method and process of designing broadband compensation for R&D employees in high-tech enterprises as well as the application condition and the problem need to be noticed. Finally, this thesis use J company as an example to discuss the design and application technique of broadband compensation and it confirms us the discussion of this thesis.So, the main conclusion of this thesis is that the pattern of broadband compensation is suitable for the R&D employees in high-tech enterprises and it is also one of effective methods which accounting for compensation problem of the R&D employees.
