| Export-oriented and import substitution are two different development strategies more often used in the process of industrialization in developing countries ,and two development strategies have the advantages and disadvantages respectively. As import substitution development strategy implemented in China generated many malpractices, and some East Asian countries using export-oriented development strategy was successful role models, China changed development way gradually from import substitution to export-oriented. Implementation of export-oriented development strategy in China has had a positive impact on China's economic development,which has made many achievements, but generated many considerable negative effects also. negative effect, either come from the flaw which exists in the export-oriented developmental strategy theory itself, or come from implements in our country with inadequate methods, or from the economic environment changes. All the circumstances show that readjustment on China's export-oriented industrial development strategy is necessary at present. Judging from China's current economic situation, the readjustment is feasible because China not only have huge economies of scale and huge domestic market, but also have enormous scale of foreign exchange reserves. However, there are also unfavorable factors with readjustment, for instance, China's economic interior imbalance depends on external imbalance and the huge employment depend on the labor-intensive industries . The idea about the readjustment to development strategic is that we shoud synthesis export-oriented strategy and import substitution strategy for the development, be guided from the theory of comparative advantage to competitive advantage theory, simultaneously, we must pay attention to uniformity of short-term goals with long-term goal in the readjustment process. Finally, this article talks of some specific measures about developmental strategy readjustment. |
