Study Of Role Of Guilin Tourism Industry To The Economic Development

The tourism economic contribution is an important standard to evaluate the industry status of tourism in national economy. Scientific and objective evaluation of tourism economic contribution and determination of the industrial status and function of tourism is providing proof for tourism receiving areas and the nation to develop tourism resources establish developmental policy of tourism, at the same moment and it is favorable to promote integrated coordinated development of tourism in areas. This thesis takes the Guilin City as a research object, adopting method of quantitative analysis to research in the degree of tourism economic contribution in this place.The article uses the theory of Granger causality test and gray theory to analyze the relationship of tourism development and economic growth of Guilin city.this paper analyzes the relationship between tourism Industry and economic growth with Granger Causality Test to Guilin City. The result indicates that tourism ndustry and economic growth in Guilin city have Granger cause effect on each other. Tourism industry influences and promotes economic growth, and vice versaGuilin is a touristy attraction in possession of rich human and tours sources. To reveal the reason and find out the restriction factors, Grey system method was used to analyze the factors which affect its economics. The main factors that impact Guilin tourism are service factors and publicity factor. Transportation factors and economic factors also play an important role in the development of Guilin tourism. Quantitative comparisons for those factors are made in order to provide basic data for the further planning, assessment, and decision-making in Guilin tourism.Based on this conclusion, the author stated some policy suggestions for Guilin on the development of tourism to adjust and accelerate the economic growth. Such as: strengthen the integration of tourism resources in order to maintain competitive advantage tourism resources, strengthen tourism personnel do a good job in the tourism industry and construction management, strengthening of regional tourism cooperation and the importance of joint development of regional tourism, Good publicity promotions strengthen tourist market expansion, tourism innovative financing channels for fund-raising and development of multi-channel.
