Study On Rural Tourism Development In Guangxi

Rural tourism is a new trend with huge potential in tourism industry. While through theoretical and practical study on rural tourism at home and abroad, this thesis finds that: Concerning rural tourism, no matter at home or abroad, theoretical researches have fallen far behind the practical research, which is obvious in China, especially in western areas like Guangxi. With a summary of actuality of rural tourism at home and abroad and choosing rural tourism in Baise City as a case, this thesis make an analysis from aspects of present situations, existing problems, development strategies and product design, and draws conclusions to existing problems and development advantages of rural tourism in Guangxi. Finally, using successful factors in typical cases of rural tourism development at home and abroad for reference, and combining actuality of rural tourism development in Baise City, this thesis puts forward suggestions on rural tourism development in Guangxi, aiming to offer beneficial references to other similar areas.This thesis consists of 6 chapters:Chapter 1 introduces backgrounds, objectives and methods of the research, as well as framework of this thesis. And it also summarizes researches on rural tourism at home and abroad.Chapter 2 makes a definition on rural tourism, studies on the appearance and development of rural tourism, and introduces experiences of rural tourism development at home and abroad.Chapter 3 mainly expounds theories on rural tourism development.Chapter 4 analyzes present development of rural tourism in Guangxi, including summary, main models of development and operation, and existing.Choosing Baise City as a case, Chapter 5 analyzes actuality, existing problems and developing situations of rural tourism in Baise City. Then it confirms the whole direction and strategic choices for rural tourism in Baise City. And it also discusses countermeasures for rural tourism in Baise City, and puts forward conceive of product development.Chapter 6 contains conclusions and discussions. Through researches on this subject, this chapter draws some conclusions, and makes further discussion on unsolved problems.
