| The development of agricultural science and technology is the necessary way to promote the development of China’s agricultural industry and realize agricultural modernization in the new era.However,the traditional agricultural science and technology services can no longer meet the farmers’ demand for science and technology.Therefore,how to improve the socialized agricultural science and technology service system centered on new agricultural operators and realize the organic connection between small farmers and modern agricultural development is an important issue that needs to be solved in China’s current agricultural development.Farmers’ professional cooperative plays an important role in the agricultural science and technology service system,and is an important grip for the development of modern agriculture.The terrain of Baise in Guangxi province is mainly mountainous,where the progress of modern agriculture is slow.Farmers’ professional cooperatives can promote the development of modern agriculture in Baise and are excellent carriers of agricultural science and technology services.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the scientific and technological service ability and influencing factors of specialized farmer cooperatives in Baise.This thesis takes the scientific and technological service ability of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Baise as the research object.Firstly,based on the review of domestic and foreign scholars’ research on farmers’ professional cooperatives and science and technology services,the current development status and science and technology service capacity of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Baise are discussed.Secondly,a survey questionnaire is designed to investigate the science and technology service function of cooperatives.Thirdly,the influence factors of science and technology service capacity of farmers’ professional cooperatives in the region are analyzed by using STATA software and multiple linear regression analysis,and this thesis put forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions.The research results show that there are 4362 farmers’ professional cooperatives in Baise,which have become an important carrier of science and technology services.The types of science and technology services mainly involve three categories.The first type is to provide information services and supply services of advanced agricultural production materials for members to engage in agricultural activities before production.The second is to provide technical guidance services and agricultural production services such as cultivation,feeding,disease prevention and control,mechanization services,intelligent agricultural management,etc.in the middle of production.The third is to provide members with extended services such as sales,processing,transportation and storage of agricultural products,brand packaging,etc.in the post-production services of the industrial chain.This thesis explores the influencing factors of cooperative science and technology service capacity from three aspects: overall characteristics of cooperatives,personal characteristics of the president,and the supply of science and technology services.The empirical results show that the scientific and technological service capacity of cooperatives is influenced by various aspects.Among them,the level of model societies,the number of science and technology service personnel,the personal identity of the president,the quality of the president’s education,the level of the president’s agricultural informatization,the level of the cooperative’s resident agricultural demonstration area,the provision of public welfare science and technology services and the degree of association with advanced science and technology units have important effects on the science and technology service capacity of cooperatives.At present,there are four main problems in agricultural science and technology services of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Baise,including lack of professional talents;low level and single content of science and technology services;insufficient funds for science and technology services;and low level of informatization.Based on the empirical results and existing problems,this thesis proposes the following countermeasures.First,strengthen the technical support for cooperatives’ science and technology services and explore new models of science and technology services.Second,increase talent support,carry out talent training and introduction.Third,insist on policy support,improve infrastructure construction,and promote horizontal and vertical union of cooperatives.Fourth,improve supporting information services,and create an information platform for cooperative science and technology services. |
