This thesis discussed the necessity & feasibility and the detail strategy of the postal enterprises' refocusing , by using several management theories. Since 1999, China post has been trying its best to expand by performing diversification strategy, which has over-withdrawn the network resources and the brand resources. It is meaningful for the study of the post refocusing strategy, which is beneficial to transit management direction, to put its efforts on the core business, to promote competitiveness power. This research analyzed the problems and difficulties of performing diversification management and probe into the motivation of performing refocusing strategy, by means of data analysis and cases analysis. It also analyzed the competitive environment of China Post and studied the outside reason of postal refocusing by PEST analysis and SWOT analysis. On the basis of the analysis, it put forward three strategy. One is the enterprises restructuring strategy, the second is consolidating and promoting core competitiveness strategy, and the third is the key business developing strategy. At last, the research came to a conclusion that the best way to performing refocusing strategy is that China post should taken the second strategy as fundamental, taken the others as function & business strategy, and endeavored to innovate on the condition of consolidating original core competitiveness power and core business.
