Research On Risk Management In Engineering Project Of The Second Construction Co, LTD Of CTCE Group

This paper, starting from the applying project risk management in engineering project, combining the characteristics of engineering project and the present condition of project risk management in the second engineering limited company of China Train Construction Engineering(CTCE) Group, proposes that how to eliminate the uncertainty of engineering project risks in order to ensure smooth completion and achieve the anticipated goal of project.Firstly, this paper introduces the concept, characteristics and main content of project risk management, discusses the effect of risk management in engineering project, analyses the status quo , existing problems and reasons of risk management application in project of the second engineering limited company of CTCE Group. Then from three stages of engineering project, bidding, the paper describes constructing and ending, discusses detailedly the application status in every stage of risk management, on the basis of applying the risk management theory to identify and evaluate the risks of every stage, puts forward the Countermeasures to deal with the project risks. Especially, this paper also discusses how to improve the project managers' selection method for the company, and how to establish assessment mechanism for marketing centre, which minimizes the engineering project risks from the sources of project. Lastly, this paper discusses the specific application of risk management in the Linjiangqiao project of Wuhu, introduces how to apply risk management theories to identify, to measure and to evaluate risks for this project, then puts forward the Countermeasures to deal with the project risks. The results show that the methods in this paper can be used better to analyze engineering project risks qualitatively and quantitatively. At the same time, based on the analysis of contract risk, the methods can be used to defend and control the sources of project risk accurately and pertinently in order to reach the objectives of risk prevention, risk supervision and risks disposal.The author hopes that this conclusion could provide helpful reference for changing the status quo of the Second Engineering Limited Company of CTCE Group.
