The Construction projects can be regard as "risk projects".The Production and manage-ment of construction enterprises and construction project management is an extreme-ly complex, it is a process which affected and determined by many factors. Construc-tion enterprises often fail to achieve the cost, quality and time goals because of lacking of cognition of these factors, or improper understanding of it, these are, actually, "risks". Risk is intangible, but they can be identified, researched and can be managed by the methods of mitigat-ing or transfer. Risks can be foreseen, avoided or overcome, but ignore. Therefore, the construc-tion project risk management research is becoming increasingly important and very urgent. The present study does some researches on risk management for construc-tion projects against the background of current domestic situation from the construction contrac-tor's point of view. Author believes that construction companies should focus on compiling the risk-related data in the process of construction and broken down the construc-tion project risks into a number of risk factors. In order to improve the operability of the study, author simplified the risk factors by Delphi method and then computed the weight of each factors ranking by the method of ANP. Fuzzy synthetic evaluation was used to make a synthetic evalua-tion for the whole project. Finally, it made a choice of risk control by decision tree theory.A case study was made which combined with an example of real estate construction project in Hangzhou. Through project site visits and questionnaire survey, ANP, Fuzzy synthetic evalua-tion and decision tree theory were used to deal with the data have obtained. The purpose of the present study was to provide a future reference risk management for contractors. Inadequacies of this article also hope that more scholars to perfect it.
