Study On The Risk Management Of Z Gas Station Construction Project

Since reforming and opening, Chinese people’s living standards are continuing to be improved, and lots of Chinese families have afforded the cars. Certainly, the gasoline supply and station became more and more important. Although today’s world economic situation is fast changing, the international crude oil price still keep s the lower price at around $40 per barrel. With the domestic oil refining enterprises capacity increasing, refined oil market in China has entered the white-hot competition. Oil product market has been occupied by the state-owned oil giant companies like Petro China, Sinopec, CNOOC, and some local refineries. Under the complicated market environment, the business development of the enterprise has to be faced with many problems and challenges.Gasoline station as a major refinery oil products sales service terminal, directly to consumers, service people, contributes main profits of refined oil enterprises. So gasoline station construction is crucial for the oil product sales companies. Currently, the domestic theoretical research and operation system on the gasoline station are insufficient and needed to be further investigated. Investment risk for gasoline station construction project is not well-controlled, and specialist on the project is lack. So the risk management research on the gasoline station construction project becomes more and more important.Based on the basic project risk management theory and practical status of the gas station construction project, a specific research will be done on risk identification, risk evaluation, risk response, etc. in the whole project process in the entire project shelf life. The system will have an induction on the risks in the gas station construction process based on common risk management theory, and conduct a systemic summary on the technology and methods for “risk identification, evaluation, response and monitoring”.In this paper, we will take Z gas station construction project as a study sample and do spot research on the project. Based on risk management theories, we will identify and evaluate the potential problems in the risk management via regular risk identification and evaluation methods. Efficient risk management methods and ideas will be provided to the project management team in the gas station construction process in this article. This paper includes a few aspects: Firstly to introduce the background and purpose of this research, to provide a general summary on domestic and foreign risk management researches, confirming the research question. Secondly to introduce those relevant research theories. Thirdly to identify and evaluate those risks in the Z gas station construction project, providing risk response measures. Finally to summarize on this paper and point out the outlook.I will continue to follow up on the gas station construction project by LN company in the future, to put those risk identification, evaluation and risk response methods into practical works, to continuously achieve improvement in the risk management, and to avoid potential risks in the gas station construction project as much as possible.
