A Strategic Research On The County-economy Of Xuzhou

The county-economy is the important foundation of the national economy and the basic carrier of building a well-off society in an all-round way in China currently. After "boosting the county economy" was put forward definitely at the 16th National Congress, the development of the county-economy has become the bright spot in building a well-off society in an all-round way, which is a hot issue cared about by the theoretical field and the whole society . Xuzhou is a less-developed region in northern Jiangsu. Therefore, how to speed up county-economy means significant in theory and has practical value to the building of a new flourishing, civilized and harmonious Xuzhou.Under the guidance of scientific development view, this paper employs the methods of theoretical and practical analysis, as well as the macro and micro analysis, combining the analysis of quantitative and qualitative so as to discuss the development strategy of Xuzhou county-economy.Based on the theories of economic growth, comparative advantage, dual structure, and industrial clustering, this paper analyzes the present situations and the main existing problems of the county economy of Xuzhou and explores the reason why the county economy of Xuzhou is lagged behind. And then the paper studies the comparative advantages and main industries of all counties in Xuzhou, as well as promoting factors of every county's economy development, and explores the effect of industrial clustering in Xuzhou. Lastly, based upon the facts of Xuzhou, the paper put forward main strategies and path choice with a view of developing late-come's advantage.The development of Xuzhou county-economy is relatively backward with an unreasonable industrial structure. The economic growth mainly depends upon investment and labor force and has a low technical content. The effect of industrial clustering and leading role has not been given full play.Based on the facts and the present situation of Xuzhou, this paper has the following suggestions. Firstly, we should cultivate the main industry and develop industrial economy as well as agricultural industrialization vigorously so as to realize the dominance of the leading industry and the leading role of the dominant industry ;Secondly, we should improve investment environment, attract the investment from domestic and overseas in order to promote the fast development of county economy; Thirdly, we should accelerate the town construction and give full play to the accumulation and leading effect of economy growth of center town; Fourthly, the scientific development view should be seriously carried out with a quick increasing speed of economy. The quality and the profit should be improved as well.
