The Performance Impact Of Top Management Team Social Capital And Environment Coalignment

With the growing scale of enterprises, it is a critical issue to improve enterprise performance that how to identify the key factors of impacting on the performance, and to effectively take advantage of these key factors and allocate rationally.Top Management Team (abbr. TMT) as important leaders in the enterprise is a key decision-makers, and has important influence to the performance. While the social capital perspective focuses on the resource that get from the relation ability of the objects will influence the performance. So, TMT social capital is certainly one of the core resources of enterprises, but also the key elements to affect the performance. It is a positive and practical significance to improve the performance that we can learn the mechanism of TMT social capital effects on the performance.To Combine the important views of the social capital theory with upper echelon theory, we construct the concept model of the performance impact of the TMT social capital. Furthermore, we analysis the constraints and resource requirements for development of enterprise to adapt to the industry environment, raise the hypothetic. At last, we conclude the conclusions through analysizing the data that we get from distributing and recovering the questionnaire with SPSS. And this paper also gets the reasonable value of TMT social capital structure in different industries environment with the system method. The reasonable value can be used as important reference for building an effective team of TMT.From the conclusions, the stock of TMT social capital has a positive impact of performance; in the "high stability and low competition" industry environment, the "high bonding and low bridging " TMT social capital structure has a better positive effects to performance: In the "high competition and low stability" industry environment, the "high bridging and low bonding " TMT social capital structure has a better positive effects to performance. So we should stress the stock of TMT social capital , but we also have to consider the resources that the enterprise development needs, and we build the effective team of TMT with the reasonable value in different environment.
