The thesis is concerned with the HDSP Company's current equipment management program. According to the relevant management theories and based on the rigorous analysis of the current situation, several key problems have been found and consequently an effective improvement program has been proposed.Firstly, a questionnaire concerning the current situation of HDSP Company's equipment management has been devised based on the domestic and foreign equipment management theories and application studies. Then, some departments, such as Equipment Management Department, Purchasing and Sales Department, and Production Department are requested to fill in the questionnaires. Thus, some crucial problems have been found by analyzing the results of the questionnaires and adopting the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The key problems are as follows: the equipment configuration feasibility program, equipment supplier assessment and selection program, Mill supervision, equipment classification management program and equipment testing cycle. And then an Equipment Configuration Feasibility Analysis Flowchart Model has been designed based on the relevant theory and the current situation of the company. After that, the Equipment Selection Program Evaluation Index System can be identified by using Delphi method, and then the Equipment Selection Program Evaluation Model can be built by the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, and in accordance with engineering economics, the Equipment Configuration Economic Viability Program can be designed. Secondly, on the basis of the company's current situation as well as a good deal of survey, a model of supplier evaluation and selection process and a supplier qualification review plan have been made, and then supplier comprehensive capacity evaluation program be designed in order to formulate the optimum HDSP Company Equipment Supplier Selection Program. On the other hand, according to ISO 9000 Standard, a Mill Supervision Process has been set, and then a series of programs have been designed, such as supplier production technology preparation monitoring, production process monitoring, and product test, etc. Meanwhile, the company's equipment importance evaluation and classification management program has been carefully devised. Finally, the equipment test cycle assessment standard and cycle decision table program has been established based on the related theories and the analysis of key influencing factors.
