Research On The Rural Tourism Competitiveness And Enhancing Strategic In Pingnan County

Rural tourism has been the new pullulating in China tourism and the new way to bring along country fortune .But the theoretical foundation is weakness and the application study of domestic rural tourism is still unripe at present. The research work and achievement ,especially in the competiteveness model of rural tourism, is still very few now.In the study the author sums up the study development of rural tourism competeviveness. Using the theory and methods of tourism, economics and sustainable development, the author defines the basic concepts of the rural tourism,tourism competitiveness and rural tourism competitiveness; discusses the theories which can be used to the decisions of rural tourism competitiveness; analysises the elements of the impacts to rural tourism and the contents of rural tourism competitiveness. On the basis of refering several competitiveness models, a index system of the rural tourism competitiveness is created. The index system comprehensively use AHP and fuzzy evaluation method to calculate the rural tourism competitiveness.The study is carried out on-the-spot survey amd research of Pingnan county. Based on the datas and research, Pingnan county is analysised and evaluated in multi-level. The author compares the rural tourism competitiveness of Pingnan with Taining from several levels. Refering to the result of the compareness ,the author find out the problems of Pingnan in different way.Finally, the author proposes five strategies to enhance the rural tourism competitiveness of Pingnan County: the strategy of tourism resources development ;the strategy of rourism human resource development, the strategy of enhancing the image of rural tourism, the strategy of government-led tourism development and the strategy of creating tourism environment.
