Empirical Analysis Of Relationship Between Foreign Trade And Economic Growth In Xinjiang

Today's world is an open world, economic globalization and regional economic integration have become an irreversible trend, the import and export trade advance a country or a region of rapid economic growth. Xinjiang is located in the hinterland of the Eurasian continent, the East connects with the Mainland, the West borders eight ountries, is an important gateway to the west, the relation study between its import and export trade and economic growth is of great significance. The relation between import and export trade and economic growth is complex, with different countries and different regions, as well as in the same country with a different stages of development have different performance. Foreign scholars are mostly concentrated in relation between China's overall economic growth and trade. The empirical analysis of relation between the region's import and export trade and economic growth is deficient.Because areas is on different levels of development, the relation between import and export trade and economic growth would be different.This paper studys the relation between Xinjiang's economic growth and the import and export trade, focuses on the promoting relation, to get the objective calculation of the quantitative relationship between the two, as the analysis basis. This paper starts with the theory of relation between economic growth and import and export trade, end of policy recommendations to speed up Xinjiang's development of the import and export trade. This paper use various research methods, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis of combining,empirical analysis and normative analysis of combination, Historical analysis and comparative analysis of combination. This paper consistses of 6 parts:The first part is introduction.The second part introduces the theory of relation between import and export trade and economic growth.The third part is the process of how trade advance economic growth. The fourth part analazes Xinjiang Current Situation of trade.The fifth part is economitrecs analisis of relation between Xinjiang trade and economic growth.The last part consists of foreign trade policy and recommendations.Through analysis, get following conclusions: (1) Xinjiang trade develops very well, the growth rate has exceeded the national level,the dependence on foreign trade steady increase, the foreign trade commodity structure has been continuously optimized, and the trade surplus rose steadily; (2) There are some problems to be solved, Xinjiang's total trade in a very small proportion of the country, the trade dependency are still significantly lower than the national level, the structure of export commodities to be further optimized, and foreign trade geographic distribution is too concentrated to develop well;(3) In the long run, there is a stable relation between Xinjiang GDP and trade, the growth of exports and imports significantly promote the development of the GDP; (4) In the short run, the growth of exports and imports significantly promote the development of the GDP also; (5) To slove those problems, we should further emancipate the mind, speed up the industrial structural adjustment and upgrading, and formulate and implement relevant policies increase scientific and technological input, and accelerate the construction of infrastructure facilities, consolidate the existing market, and actively open up new markets in order to seize the opportunity of developing the western region to promote the development of Xinjiang's foreign trade, so as to promote Xinjiang economic growth.
