The Research On The Quality Of Life In China

Report of 16th Communist Party of China national congress points out clearly,the basic goal of developing the economic is to improve the living standard and quality of national people. The new viewpoint of development emphasizes that the development of socio-economy should center on the human being but not on the traditional economic of the growth, which really brings forward a new socio-economy that is the comprehensive desire and object of the development of human being. It is not only the impersonal desire of the socio-economy development, but also the impending demand of constructing the wealth society life in China.This article includes four chapters which have made systematic research on the quality of life in China from qualitative analysis to quantitative analysis:The first chapter is introduction. In this chapter, it summarizes the headway and trend of the research on the quality of life at the present time. Firstly, based on the multifarious definition of "the quality of life" currently, it brings forward its own viewpoint on it. Secondly, it discusses the evolving process of connotation of life quality. Finally, it briefly introduces and appraises some popular indexes of the quality of life designed by the domestic and the international scholar.The second chapter puts forward the index system of the quality of life in China. First, it discusses the importance and some theoretic elements of designing the index system of the quality of life in China. From three respects of economy, society and environment naturally, it forwards a set of comparative complete and practical evaluating method and indicator system and quantized pattern for the life quality of china.The third chapter analyzes the shortcomings of the current methods of comprehensive evaluation on the quality of life, and then based on six different systems, it makes use of the Factor Analysis and Cluster Analysis to evaluate the quality of life and compares it nationally. Furthermore, it describes and analyzes the present situation of the Chinese quality of life in the statistical aspect. Finally, it makes a decision analysis of the quality of life in China according to the result of the Factor analysis and Cluster analysis. The fourth chapter analyzes the influencing factors of the quality of life in China in detail according to the results from the third chapter, it discusses how to improve Chinese quality of life, and then puts forward a series of countermeasures and suggestions.
