Small and medium sized enterprises are important components in our market economy .They play an important part in our national economy. But they own a short enterprise life. Compared with large enterprises, they have their own weaknesses. How can they survive intense competition? Is venture strategy a must for new venture of small and medium sized enterprises? How can they avoid venture risk by making competitive strategy? It is a considerable issue. This thesis intends to make a systematic analysis of H company on the basis of venture theory. It aims to offer the optional competitive strategy for new venture of small and medium sized enterprises and H company .The thesis also want to provide reference of how to formulate and implement competitive strategy for new venture of small and medium sized enterprises.The thesis uses theory research and case study .Firstly, the background, significance, content and framework of this thesis are proposed. Innovation and research methods of this thesis are also included. Secondly, academic point of venture strategy is introduced. Scholar think the success of the new venture depends on the ability of making a strategy and applying it into reality .Thirdly, the type of venture enterprises is defined. Company start-up enterprise and new venture composed the entrepreneurial company. Next, the thesis systematically introduced the research made by scholar at home and abroad of new venture strategy and strategy for new venture of small and medium sized enterprises. Fifth, the thesis defined small and medium sized enterprises and start-up stage of new venture of small and medium sized enterprises. Their feature in start-up period and general competitive strategy and innovation of it are proposed. Sixth, the empirical analysis of H company is made. H company is a typical new venture of small and medium sized in dairy industry. Based on theory of competitive strategy, with methodology of macroscopic and microscopic , qualitative and quantitative analysis, according to the optional venture competitive strategy and the actual situation of H company, the thesis proposes the venture competitive strategy for H company. Seventh, the thesis introduces the principle of the implementation of competitive strategy for new venture of small and medium sized enterprises. As to the implementation of strategy, it suggests that H company should try too upgrade culture system, pay attention to the strategic role of Human resource department, build up core competences. Chapter 8 is the summary. It includes inadequate and research direction next step of this thesis.
