Research On The Inventory Control Of Manufacturer Concerning Closed-Loop Supply Chain

Due to the higher requirement of environment protection and economic sustainable development, many countries have given the laws to protect the environment which make the product reuse be the core motivation of pushing some enterprises to develop. Facing such pressure, manufacturers, suppliers, sales and product collectors in the industry, pushed by economic benefits and laws, are necessary to cooperate and implement the closed-loop supply chain management (CLSM)-the brand new management mode.However, our researches are still at the threshold of the field about closed-loop supply chain theory compared with foreign research results, and especially there are few articles about the inventory control concerning closed-loop supply chain. Therefore, there are important academic and realistic meaning in the research of the control and management of the closed-loop supply chain.In view of this situation, this paper proposes the concept of closed-loop supply chain at first, and then concentrates on the inventory control of the product which is in the maturity stage of the life circle. Chapter one and two of this paper introduce the definition of the closed-loop supply chain, point out the research value of the closed-loop supply chain, and analyses the domestic and overseas status quo of research in inventory control of closed-loop supply chain. Chapter three reviews the basic knowledge of the traditional inventory theory, and proposes the goal held in inventory of the closed-loop supply chain on this basis, analyses the differences between the new and the traditional inventory theory. Chapter four puts forward two kinds of methods to solve the problem of the optimum product and repair quantity under the condition of the stable returns. Chapter five is based on unstable returns proposes the inventory control model of sumulate batch. These methods base on the stable demands and hypothesis that the manufacturing products and the remanufacturing product are identical. Illustration is given through a case study.This paper combines the characteristic of the inventory control concerning closed-loop supply chain on the basis of traditional inventory control, take the reverse product as a source of the inventory, and developed some models more fit to the fact under different conditions. It enriches the content of the theory of inventory control, widens the area which can use the inventory decision based on the closed-loop supply chain strategy.
