The capacity of route acceleration is nearly saturated of the eastern coastal plain area with the speed-raising six times, at the same time , it is slowly for the area of westren mountain.The economic and socail of western will go to the fast development period, and people's living level will improve day by day with the western development strategy, so the demands for railway transport will grow very fast, and people's demand of the quality railway's transport will also get higher and higher. To implement the great western development ,it not only need to develop the network of railway,but also need to tap the potential under the existing conditions,and increase the capacity and the efficiency of the transportation .At the same time,in some area of the western, the railway is facing very serious challenges with the constantly development transportation of highway and air.the western region of montanic railway speed up and expansion has becom imperative.In this background, if the montanic railway want to Possession a place in the fierce competiton of the transport,it should speed up,improve the quality of montanic train traction,identify the weak links of montanic railway transport capacity ,targeted for expansion,through the "point", the "line" system capacity and coordinated mountain rail network transport capacity balance, thereby improving the expansion of increase mountain railway system integrated transport capacity, this series has been pressing to resolve the problem.In this paper,it takes the southwest montanic railways as the background,arounds the speed-up,increase in tons,expansion and other related issues to research carried out as the follows:1,Aiming at the different features of montanic railways because of design standards, topography geological conditions and the function of the rail network etc, the thesis analyzes and researches the influence of primary technical standards and transportation circumstances of mountain railways on improving the speed trains, and further researches speed sections and determine the reasonable rate target value.2,Aiming at the status and characters of montanic railway's tractive equality, analyzes the existing problems and primary influencing factors, researches the measures and steps improving tractive destiny and discusses the reunification of tractive equality in accordance with the characters of the montanic railway.3,In the process of speed-up and expansion of montanic railway, analyzes the mountain rail network sub-system, researches the methods finding out the weak links of system capacity, analyzes the using ratio of every tache capacity, on the primary basis of the optimal capacity utilization, takes relative technical improving measures aiming at the weak links of transportation system with pertinency.4,Analyzes and researches the ability to coordinate and match relations of "point" and "line", uses the certain methods of capacity quantum between "point" and "line" equipments to research the current point-line capacity of Chengdu hub , gains the ends of optimal transportation performance finally.
