Economic Research On High-speed Railway In Guangdong Province Under The Condition Of High-speed Railway Economy

In December 2009,the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway was officially opened to traffic,followed by the opening of several high-speed railway lines,such as Xiamen-Shenzhen high-speed railway?Nanning-Guangzhou high-speed railway?Guilin-Guangzhou high-speed railway,meaning that Guangdong province officially entered the era of high-speed railway.At this time,Guangdong has experienced many years of rapid economic growth,which is confronted with economic problems such as insufficient economic growth,unreasonable industrial structure and large economic development gap between regions.Under this background,The development of high-speed railway in Guangdong province is of great significance to solve various economic problems in the economic circle of Guangdong province,inject fresh energy to the economic development of Guangdong province,And reshape Guangdong economic pattern,which accelerates the sustainable development path of Guangdong economy to pursue higher quality and efficiency.Based on the analysis of the previous theories and literatures,this paper analyzes the mechanism of high-speed railway and regional economic development,combining with the excellent economic and technical characteristics of high-speed railway.At the same time,based on the four aspects of economic growth,economic integration,optimization of industrial structure and employment,this paper analyzes the influence path of high-speed railway to restructure the economic circle pattern of Guangdong province.Then,based on these four paths,this paper analyzes the important role of high-speed railway in Guangdong province in promoting economic development of Guangdong province by using the grey prediction model and the panel data model.Finally,based on the above analysis results,this paper puts forward relevant policy recommendations for the economic development of Guangdong province.This paper finds that:high speed railway has important influence to reshape the economy of Guangdong province,mainly through four paths of economic growth,economic integration,optimization of industrial structure and employment.The opening of the high-speed railway has increased the efficiency of Guangdong 's economic operation,promoted the economic growth of Guangdong,and added new vitality to the economy of Guangdong.And the high-speed railway has reduced the development gap between regions and accelerated the economic integration of Guangdong province.At the same time,the high-speed railway has promoted the industrial structure upgrading within the economic circle of Guangdong province by promoting the development of the tertiary industry represented by tourism.In the end,the high-speed railway has improved the competitive advantage of the region,promoted the mutual flow of labor force elements between regions,and strengthened the agglomeration of labor factors in the pearl river delta region.
