The online game is one part of Internet economy, although it starts late in our country, it is worth paying attention to the online game's fast development and the high ration market scale increasing, 7 years ago the online game first appears in the Chinese market, nowadays it has already formed the online game industry. However, our country's online game industry has the high profit, high growth as well as the high risk. In the online game industry the product life cycle is short, the external environment would change quickly, these characteristics cause that the risk of the online game industry continue to increase. The high profit of the online game industry attracts the multitudinous enterprises to jump into the market, at the same time many game products stop operating, and many online game enterprises are washed out by the market.The KS Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as KS Co., Ltd.) were listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd. (SEHK) in 2007, the online game business is the main source of the company income at present, accounts for 71% in its total income. In the condition that there are multitudinous online game enterprises in our country, and the industry competition is getting fiercer day by day, the online game business of KS Co., Ltd. must get certain competitive advantage in order to talent show itself in fierce competition. How to carry on the strategic plan effectively, leading to the online game business developing continually, obtaining the higher market share and the profit in the intense market competition, is the important problem which the online game business of KS Co. Ltd. faces at present.This thesis firstly sets the research about the development condition of the online game industry and the industrial value chain in our country; Next carries on the analysis to the online game enterprise's external environment from the macroscopic and the industrial competition environment two aspects, discover the opportunity and threat what the online game enterprise faces in our country; Then introduces the basic information of KS Co. Ltd. and its online game business, seeks for the strength and weakness in the enterprise interior, as well as has carried on the simple analysis to the online game clients; Finally carries on the generalized analysis using the SWOT strategy choice model, puts forward the proposal to the online game business of KS Co. Ltd. competition strategy.This thesis proceeds with the basic principle and method of strategic management, unifies the actual situation of the online game business of KS Co. Ltd. to launch the research, makes every effort to explore a feasible road for the long-term stability development of the online game business of KS Co. Ltd.
