A Study On Industry Cycle Index Of Hotel In China

Monitoring hotel industry cycle index is very important theoretically and empirically, this thesis paper studies the indicators to measure hotel industry cycle index in China. The results can be used as the guidelines for the government to regulate and constitute its industrial policies as well as the direction for hotel investors and hotel groups to make up strategy. Besides, the research methodologies and cycle index model can be used for hotel enterprises to measure their own enterprises cycle index.This thesis paper tries to build up the research framework to study hotel industry cycle index and design models to measure and calculate the industry cycle index.In the process of study, many research methodologies have been adopted, such as econometric methods, the literature review, programming method, model construction, qualitative and quantitative analysis. Firstly, this thesis paper retrospects the development of the method to monitor business cycles and its theoretical development. Secondly it analysis the impact factors of hotel industry, then focuses on the calculation methods of hotel industry cycle index, and analysis hotel industry cycle index, then predict the industry's development in next years.
