Research On The Time-Cost Management Of Shian Expressway Project

Expressway is playing a more and more important role in developing our society and boosting our economics. The building of Expressway can not only stimulating the national demand and the development of the economics, it can also help to establish a good material base for later economic development. In China, we are facing the peak period to build expressway, the expressway net has nearly established in our country. However, with the building of the expressway, some problems have risen such as losing control for investment and the delay of the project's deadline. Therefore, under the premise to ensure the project's quality and the deadline, some other problems deserve to be considered by the constructor, such as how to control effectively for the project's investment, how to reduce the project's cost and how to improve the investment's benefit.This dissertation is mainly illustrated by a"project's total cost– time limit"curve line, which is an"S"type and aim to combine a project's cost and time limit. This curve line can indicate a project's time limit from the angle of a cost and it is indeed a optimized model of a project's time limit cost.Based on the present condition, this method can predict a project status in its later stage and even in its end. Therefore, it can reflect a project's problem much better, and it can also tackle and control the problems easily and effectively related with verifying and compensation. In the end, to use for reference with a project which get a loan from the World's Bank, and which is a bridge on the Shi An expressway, this dissertation conclude the method, procedure and the result of a project's managing of cost– time limit.The procedure and method in this dissertation would be used in the expressway construction projects.
