The implementation of manufacturing informazation is a significant action to carry out the strategy of"Driving industrialiazation by informatization"comprehensively. The establishment of unified information exponents system can help with the guideline making to prompt informatization and the scientific evaluation of its level. So it is of vital importance.This paper mainly focused on the following aspects.1. Based on the informatization evaluation theory and the principles of manufacturing informatization designing mothedology, the exponents system of manufacturing informatization was set up, in which enterprise exponents system and environment exponents system were included. Besides, the according calculation model was established.2. Research work was carried out to the weight solution method. The AHP method was used to calculate the weights both for the enterprises exponents system and environment exponents system. Then the exponent of China was calculated using the data collected.3. The system dynamics theory was incorporated into the research of manufacturing informazation. The dynamics model for manufacturing informatization system was developed on the basis of its frame and systematic feature analysis.4. The manufacturing informatization situation of Tianjin was summarized and its development goal was clarified. According to the system dynamics model developed, the manufacturing informatization system of Tianjin was simulated through the using of Vensim PLE software. The strategy of Tianjin manufacturing informatization was proposed based the simulation results.In the end, the research work was summarized and several expectations were put forward.
