As the market economic becoming perfect day and day, and China joined into the World Trade Organization, the situation that the company faces changes enormously. If the company wants to exist and remain invincible in the more and more competitive world, it has to take effective means to carry the strategy of the company into execution. In the meantime, the balanced scorecard has changed from a performance evaluating method into a strategy management method gradually, for its kinds of balance of inside and outside, result and drive factor, long time and short time, fixed nature and fixed quantity caused by the four lays, and its four lays including finance, client, internal process, learning and shaping.This thesis researches how to carry the strategy of the company into execution effectively by designing and implement the balanced scorecard. The thesis has five chapters: the first chapter includes the research background, aim, significance, methods and so on. In chapter two, through reviewing the development course and the main content of every period, the thesis introduces the evolvement and the design process of the balanced scorecard. In chapter three, the thesis elaborates the actualizing process of the balanced scorecard. In chapter four, the thesis quotes the instances of two companies, which actualize the balanced scorecard, one is the American sale and oil refining filiale overseas, the other is the international mail company, it compares and discusses the sameness and the differences. The fifth chapter is the conclusion of the thesis, it summarizes the predominance of the balanced scorecard, and I bring forward my own point of view about the problems that may exist in the designing and actualizing process. In the end, the thesis gives an expectation on the developing foreground of the balanced scorecard.
